Making A Google Map

30 Oct

This week, I learned how to map points of destination on Web-based map making software like Google Maps. Here’s how I did it.

1) Go to

2) Click the “My Places” button, then “Create A Map”.

3) Once you create your map, simply add an address in the search window at the top of the screen. When it pops up, click “Save To Map” and choose the map you just created. Viola! Now you have a new map.

4) To share the map, create a short link by clicking on the link icon at the top right corner of the screen. This will generate a URL for you. Copy and paste the URL in whatever media sharing tool you wish – e-mail, Website, blog, Facebook page, Twitter, etc. Like this…
